I had the pleasure of writing about my favorite hero type for the Romantic Fantasy Shelf blog: the delta hero. The delta is certainly out there, but he is not as well-defined or known by name as alpha and beta heroes. I had a blast fleshing out the key traits and characters arcs with some of my favorite examples from books, movies, anime, and visual novels (otome). I also talk about relevant tropes that pair well with delta heroes.
